Order now !! Anjana Vasan is Amina Hussain, recruited to be the unlikely lead guitarist of Muslim punk band Lady Parts in season 1, alongside Saira who is played by Sarah Kameela Impey, Juliette Motamed as Ayesha, Faith Omole as Bisma and Lucie Shorthouse as Momtaz, who completes the band.
The second season features cameos from Malala Yousafzai, education activist and co-founder of the Malala fund, and comedy legend Meera Syal.
Season 2 sees the band return with a renewed artistic mission after the high of their first UK tour, only to find a rival band threatening their delicate status quo. but as the reality of chasing success sets in, Lady Parts embark on recording their first album, juggling personal ambitions and questioning whether ‘making it big’ is really what they want…
We Are Lady Parts is written, created, executive produced and directed by Nida Manzoor. Series two was commissioned for Channel 4 by Laura Riseam, comedy commissioning editor. Executive producers for Working Title Television are Surian Fletcher-Jones, Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner. John Pocock is the producer. We Are Lady Parts is distributed by NBC Universal Global TV Distribution.

アンジャナ・ヴァサンは、シーズン1でムスリムパンクバンド「レディ・パーツ」のリードギタリストに抜擢されたアミーナ・フセインを演じ、サラ・カメーラ・インペイ演じるサイラ、アイーシャ役のジュリエット・モタメド、ビスマ役のフェイス・オモレ、バンドを完成させるモムタズ役のルーシー・ショートハウスらと共演している。
第2シーズンには、教育活動家でマララ基金の共同設立者であるマララ・ユサフザイと、コメディ界の伝説的存在であるミーラ・シャルがカメオ出演している。
シーズン2では、初のイギリス・ツアーを終え、新たな芸術的使命を帯びて戻ってきたバンドが、ライバル・バンドに微妙な現状を脅かされていることに気づく。しかし、成功を追い求める現実が迫ってくるにつれ、レディ・パーツはファースト・アルバムのレコーディングに着手し、個人的な野望と両立させながら、「大成功」することが本当に自分たちの望むことなのか疑問を投げかける...。
