トラックリスト突如、死者が生き返り、生きている人間を襲い始めた。甦った死者=ゾンビは生者の肉を喰らい、喰われた者も彼らの仲間として甦る。世界は地獄と化した。TV局勤務のフランシーン、パイロットのスティーヴン、SWAT隊員のピーターとロジャーは、ゾンビビが増え続ける中、ヘリで都市からの脱出を試みる。ようやくたどり着いた郊外の巨大なショッピングセンターで束の間の平和を得るが、ロジャーがゾンビに噛まれてしまう。やがてロジャーは死に、ゾンビとなって生き返った。ピーターの銃弾が、彼を永遠の眠りにつかせた。同じ毎日の繰り返しで、倦怠感を感じ、しだいに生きがいを失ってゆく三人。そこに、狂乱の世界を生き延びてきた暴走族が、物資を求めて乱入してきた。バリケードが破られ、大量のゾンビたちもなだれ込む。ピーターたちと暴走族、そしてゾンビの三つ巴の戦争が始まった。出演： デヴィッド・エムゲ、 ケン・フォリー。1978年米。
