高名な作曲家フィリップ・ロンビ（『戦場のアリア』『パリタクシー』など）による新作映画のオリジナル・サウンドトラック。映画『Visions』（2023）は、『パーフェクトマン　完全犯罪』『ブラックボックス：音声分析捜査』のヤン・ゴズランが脚本・監督を務め、ダイアン・クルーガー、マチュー・カソヴィッツ、マルタ・ニエトが出演。

優秀な航空会社の機長であるエステルは、高名な医師である夫ギョームと完璧な生活を送っていた。エステルはアナと恋に落ち、激しい情事を始める。彼女は繰り返し幻視、悪夢、幻覚を見るようになり、現実を見失い始める。

このサイコ・スリラーのために、フィリップ・ロンビは、ねじれた弦楽器とハープのグリッサンドを基調とした、非常にハーマン風なメインテーマを作曲した。オーケストラ・スコアに陰鬱なエレクトロニック・テクスチャーをミックスし、不穏な緊張感とミステリーのトーンを作り上げた。

『Visions』は2023年9月6日にフランスで公開。

In collaboration with Eagles Team Entertainment and 24 25 Films, Music Box Records presents the new score composed by acclaimed composer Philippe Rombi (Merry Christmas, Angel, War of the Buttons). The film Visions (2023), written and directed by Yann Gozlan (A Perfect Man, Black Box), stars Diane Kruger, Mathieu Kassovitz and Marta Nieto.

Estelle, a brilliant airline captain, has a perfect life with her husband Guillaume, a renowned doctor. Something is about to change as Estelle falls in love with Ana and starts an intense affair. She gets recurring visions, nightmares and hallucinations and starts losing grip on reality.

For this psychological thriller, Philippe Rombi composed a very Herrmannesque main theme based on twisting strings and harp glissandi. The rest of his score sets the tone for an unsettling tension and mystery, mixing orchestral score with some brooding electronic textures.

Visions is released in French theaters on September 6, 2023.
