We're at the third meeting in DDJDLX series?dedicated to Italian cult cinema?with the great music of Maestro Bruno Zambrini. This time the choice falls on the score made by this talented composer for the second film directed by Neri Parenti that he set to music, Pappa e ciccia. Filmed in 1983, the movie saw the two undisputed comedy stars in the cast, Paolo Villaggio and Lino Banfi, each a protagonist of one of the episodes of the film. In the first episode, Nicola Calore (Banfi) plays the role of an Apulian emigrant in foreign lands, and in the second, Paolo Villaggio is a spinoff of his character Fantozzi struggling with the holiday system of the tourist villages. The music of Maestro Zambrini provides valuable support to this small jewel of our national entertainment, draping situations with timely irony, free from any grotesque temptation, always of the highest quality.
Another major absentee from the discography dedicated to the great master is finally available. The CD comes in a jewel case and hard paper slipbox with a 16-page booklet designed by Alessio Iannuzzi, mastering by Claudio Fuiano and liner notes by Daniele De Gemini. 発売日：2016.7.20
