Ilan Eshkeri is a British composer best known for his film scores to Stardust, The Young Victoria and Kick-Ass as well as his collaborations with Coldplay and Annie Lennox. His career is notable for its diversity, he recently scored Ralph Fiennes' Shakespearian directorial debut, Coriolanus, Rowan Atkinson's comedy caper Johnny English Reborn and was commissioned to write repertoire for classical superstar pianist Lang Lang. Eshkeri won the International Film Music Critics Association award for ''Best Original Score'' for Stardust and was nominated for ''Discovery of the Year'' award at the World Soundtrack Awards. The soundtrack also includes the previously unreleased song ''Hero'' by British singer-songwriter Rebecca Ferguson who came to prominence in 2010 when she was runner-up on X Factor in the U.K.
