1970年代のロサンゼルス。ソーシャルワーカーのシングルマザー、アンナは、川で溺死した子どもたちの母親から“あなたの子どもたちも、あの女の泣き声を聞くでしょう”と謎の警告を受ける。まるで意味が分からないアンナだったが、ほどなくして子どもたちは本当にその泣き声を聞いてしまう。それは水のある場所ならどこにでも現われ、子どもたちの命を奪う“ヨローナ”の呪いだった。子どもたちに魔の手が迫る中、教会に助けを求めるアンナだったが…。出演はリンダ・カーデリーニ、レイモンド・クルツ、パトリシア・ヴェラスケス。監督は長編デビューのマイケル・チャベス。2019年米。
