Michael Kamen is probably best known for his film scores. But before doing those, he was a founding member of the New York Rock & Roll Ensemble. He also issued one solo album, New York Rock, in 1973 on the Atco label. It features a guest appearance by David Sanborn. It is now making its worldwide CD debut.
