The main character, Shizuka Reimi, became a high school teacher to get out of a life of unemployment. Shizuka also follows this motto, and she is supposed to spend her time avoiding trouble and not getting too involved with the students. However, she gets caught up in the affairs of the students, all of whom are problem children, and is forced into a situation where she has to give a "sermon" (even though she does not want to), and she is left wondering "Why am I giving a sermon? And Shizuka is forced to scramble to give a sermon. And Shizuka comes up with an unbelievable sermon! What is it? Truancy, compliance issues, power harassment, monster parents...
