Story: Sasaki is a worn-out middle-aged man racing down the path of corporate slavery. His only secret sources of comfort are the cigarettes he smokes daily and the cheerful service provided by Ms. Yamada, a female clerk at his regular supermarket. One night, exhausted from work, he heads to the supermarket in search of solace, but Ms. Yamada isn't there, and there's nowhere to smoke these days… Just as Sasaki is feeling dejected, a woman named Tayama approaches him and says, "You can smoke here."
