A timeless love story sparked by a son from the future!
Based on the popular comic ‘My Son from the Future: After 10 Years Without a Boyfriend, a Son Fell from the Sky!’ (serialised in Shueisha's ‘Young Jump+’) by Kumiko Aso, known for scripts like ‘Marumo's Law’, and Hajime Kuromugi.
The protagonist, Shiozawa Mirai, is a 28-year-old woman on the brink of her thirties: no steady job, no savings, no boyfriend. She's spent years chasing her dream of becoming an actress, yet remains unseen, scraping by on part-time jobs. Then one night, amidst a violent thunderclap, a small boy suddenly appears, calling her ‘Mama’! Introducing himself as S?ta, he claims to have travelled from the year 2036 to reconcile Mirai with his father, ‘M?-kun’. Three very different men emerge as potential candidates for this role. Who on earth is the future husband ‘Ma-kun’!? This story depicts a heroine, whose love life, career, and dreams were all half-hearted, suddenly becoming a mother one day. Through raising a child, she learns the meaning of living with someone and supporting each other, and begins to live her life anew, true to herself.
The music is composed by Yuta Mori, who is active primarily in creating incidental music for films, dramas, and theatre, including the TBS Friday drama ‘Ignite’.
