A new story featuring "Shunsaku Aoshima" begins. Music by Akihiko Matsumoto, who has composed for the series.
The "Odoru (Bayside Shakedown)" series began as a TV drama series in 1997. When "Bayside Shakedown THE MOVIE" was released in 1998, it grossed over 10 billion yen at the box office.
The second film in the series, "Bayside Shakedown2", released in 2003, grossed 17.35 billion yen and remained a landmark in Japanese live-action cinema for 22 years.
