[SHM-CD] Appointed Music Director of the Los Angeles Philharmonic in 1962 and ushering in its golden age, Zubin Mehta reached one of his recording peaks with "The Planets," which won the Record Academy Award in 1972. His recording of "Star Wars," made immediately after the film's release, was a groundbreaking work that demonstrated to the world that this score stood on the same level as classical masterpieces.
