A MURDER COLLECTION is an ''exercice de style'' that blends a shared love for John Carpenter, Charles Bernstein, Brad Fiedel and Richard Band's music. Paying homage to the exploitation culture (like “Escape From New-York”, “A Nightmare On Elm Street”, “Fright Night”, etc …) by using older technologies such as CMI Fairlight or some Moog Keyboards, this non-soundtrack by Lucas Giorgini tells the story of a serial killer, a fantasy directly inspired by “Halloween” and “Maniac”. -- from the label.
