In an instant, it reduces the city to rubble! Rodan, the monster bird of the century, soars through the skies, unleashing tidal waves and whipping up crimson flames!

The culprit behind a murder deep inside a coal mine in Kyushu was Meganeuron, a giant insect resurrected from ancient times. Meanwhile, the Japan Air Self-Defense Force's radar in Fukuoka detected an object flying at supersonic speeds faster than a jet. It was Rodan, a type of medieval flying dragon that had been preying on Meganeuron.
Pursued by the Japan Air Self-Defense Force, Rodan destroyed the Saikai Bridge and flew into downtown Hakata. With gale-force winds, it demolishes buildings and turns the city into a sea of fire. Can humanity withstand Rodan's fury…?
