This is the premier release of the soundtrack album to feature the music (BGM) from the Toei-produced TV dramas "Shinkansen Koankan (Shinkansen Public Safety Officer)" and "Kiba Bugyo" on a single CD.

"Shinkansen Koankan," broadcast from 1977 to 1978, is a suspense drama where a railway public safety officer, played by Teruhiko Saigo, investigates crimes set aboard the Shinkansen bullet train.

The 1979-80 series "Kiba Bugyo" is an action period drama starring the sixth-generation Ichikawa Somegoro (now the second-generation Matsumoto Hakuei) as the head of the Fire and Theft Investigation Bureau.

Both series' music was composed by Takeo Watanabe, renowned for his work on dramas, films, and anime such as "The White Tower (Shiroi Kyoto)," "Heidi, Girl of the Alps," and "Mobile Suit Gundam."

Enjoy the mature sound crafted around the time of "The White Tower" and "Mobile Suit Gundam."

All BGM tracks are released commercially for the first time!
Also includes the theme song "Watashi wa Okurikaze" ("I Am the Wind That Sends You Off") from "Kiba Bugyo," sung by Yasuko Kawashima!
The booklet features music commentary, a music list, and archival photos.
