KIKI KAIKAI: KURO MANTO NO NAZO

Original soundtrack for the latest title in the "Kiki Kaikai" series is now on sale! "Kiki Kaikai" is an action shooting game that first appeared as an arcade game in 1986. The player takes on the role of the miko (shrine maiden) Saya-chan and uses exorcism skewers and money to exterminate monsters in order to save the Seven Gods of Good Fortune, who have been kidnapped by ghosts. Subsequently, consumer ports and sequels were released for various hardware platforms. This title, "Kiki Kaikai: Kuro Manto no Nazo (Mystery of the Black Cloak)," is a sequel to the 1992 hit "Kiki Kaikai: Nazo No Kuro Manto," which was released in Japan for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) and overseas for the SNES under the name "Pocky &Rocky". The music for this title is by Hiroyuki Iwatsuki. The album contains 31 tracks of BGM with nostalgia-inducing melodies. The booklet includes a commentary by Hiroyuki Iwatsuki on the creation of the music for this title.
