The music is composed and arranged by Motoi Sakuraba, who also wrote and arranged the music for the original game. The music has been completely remade. In addition to the popular songs "The venerable forest" and "Stab the sword of justice", new songs written especially for "STAR OCEAN THE SECOND STORY R" are also included.
