KURA NO ARU MACHI

The original soundtrack from the highly anticipated film "Kura no Aru Machi (The Town with a Warehouse)," directed by Emiko Hiramatsu, who is known for her work on "Himawari to Koinu no Nanokakan (Seven Days with Sunflowers and Puppies)" and "Ano Hi no Organ (The Organ of That Day)," and who has served as screenwriter and assistant director on many of Yoji Yamada's films. The film is set in Hiramatsu's hometown of Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture. The film features a young cast including S?ma Yamato from "The Boy And The Heron" and Runa Nakajima, who was selected as Miss Seventeen 2024, as well as a star-studded lineup including MEGUMI, Masaz? Hayashiya, and K? Hashizume. Additionally, figure skater Daisuke Takahashi makes his acting debut on the big screen, adding to the buzz surrounding the film. The music is composed by Takatsugu Muramatsu, a versatile composer and pianist known for his work on Studio Ghibli animations like "When Marnie Was There" and "Mary and the Witch's Flower," as well as hit films like "64/Rokuyon" and "The Bride Who Waited 8 Years: A True Story," and for composing "The Song of Life" for Mariya Takeuchi. This album features delicate and gentle melodies that envelop the warm human drama, leaving a lasting impression on the listener.
