Released in CD by Ensayo and Fundacion Luis Cernuda de la Diputacion de Sevilla in 1988 (with the same cover art) and out-of-print since 1990, this had become one of the most wanted CD's by all Morricone collectors, sold at a very high price amon particulars.

This new edition, licensed by Diputacion de Sevilla, is a new chance to enjoy one of the most breathtaking performances by Ennio Morricone, including unforgettable moments like the spectacular orchestration for choir and percussion of the first worldwide live recording of THE MISSION or the FIVE SONGS SUITE, an almost 30 minutes of delicious long arrangement for soprano and orchestra including romantic classics like LA DUE STAGIONE DELLA VITA, LA CALIFFA or L'ALIBI, of which this is the only recording.
