At last, the long-awaited CD release. The original soundtrack for the anime series "LAZARUS" by multi-instrumentalist and composer Kamasi Washington. The epic opening theme "VORTEX," which drew strong reactions, was personally chosen by director Watanabe as the main theme of "LAZARUS." "VORTEX" was nominated for the Emmy Award for Outstanding Original Main Title Music. "LAZARUS" is directed by Shinichiro Watanabe ("Cowboy Bebop"), with character design by Akemi Hayashi ("BANANA FISH"), action supervision by Chad Stahelski ("John Wick"), and production by MAPPA ("Jujutsu Kaisen", "Chainsaw Man"), with SOLA ENTERTAINMENT as planning/production. Music by Kamasi Washington / Bonobo / Floating Points stylishly enhances the world of the work, as creators from Japan and overseas team up to deliver powerful action and a meticulously crafted drama.
