INFERNO

Academy AwardR winner Ron Howard returns to direct the latest bestseller in Dan Brown's (Da Vinci Code) billion-dollar Robert Langdon series, Inferno, which finds the famous symbologist (again played by Tom Hanks) on a trail of clues tied to the great Dante himself. When Langdon wakes up in an Italian hospital with amnesia, he teams up with Sienna Brooks (Felicity Jones), a doctor he hopes will help him recover his memories. Together, they race across Europe and against the clock to foil a deadly global plot. Inferno opens in theaters nationwide on October 28.

He also received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in December 2010. His Academy AwardR-winning score to The Lion King has sold over 15 million copies since release in the early 90s. Some of his most recent works include Zack Snyder's Man of Steel, The Lone Ranger, History Channel's miniseries The Bible, the Christopher Nolan-directed films Inception, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises; Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, Ron Howard's Rush and Steve McQueen's Twelve Years A Slave. His most recent Academy AwardR nomination, his 10th, was for Interstellar.
