Masaki Ikawa (Yuta Tamamori) is an ordinary man living in "Morinuma Next Town," a town so peaceful it boasts zero incidents for 1,100 consecutive days. While working as a caregiver at a nursing home, he leads a happy daily life with his beloved wife Mayumi (Emma Miyazawa)?with whom he has been married for six years?and their pet budgerigar, Pyotr.
One day, Ikawa suffers a fall and loses consciousness. A week later, when he finally wakes up and rushes home, he finds?to his shock?a stranger living there, impersonating him…! What's more, his coworkers, neighbors, and even his wife Mayumi don't seem to remember him… His happy daily life is turned upside down, and Ikawa finds himself cornered by this baffling situation. What on earth happened to him? Eventually, it becomes clear that a "shocking truth" lies hidden there?.
"Memory" defines the life we've lived and our relationships with others. But what if that memory differs from someone else's…? How can one prove their own existence or their relationships with those around them? If memories were to vanish, would even the love he felt so deeply be erased as if it never happened?
