Track ListThis film, AMELIE ET LA METAPHYSIQUE DES TUBES, is a feature-length animated adaptation by directors Mailis Vallaud and Liang-Chou Han of the semi-autobiographical novel Tubular Metaphysics by Amelie Norton, the youngest daughter of a Belgian diplomat family who spent her childhood in Hyogo Prefecture. After its world premiere at the 2025 78th Cannes Film Festival, it won the Audience Award at the 2025 Annecy International Animation Film Festival. It further garnered international acclaim with a nomination for Best Animated Feature Film at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards, seven nominations at the 53rd Annie Awards, and a nomination for Best Animated Feature Film at the 98th Academy Awards.
The music is composed by Mari Fukuhara, a composer and pianist known for her work on the documentary film "Yokohama Merry" (co-produced with Komoesta Yaegashi). The Japanese edition includes a special track: the in-film song "Koi no Vacance" by The Peanuts!!
