I want to fall in love. With someone other than you.
A live-action film adaptation of the hit comic "A Girl & Her Guard Dog" (Kodansha, written by Hatsuharu), which has sold over 3.36 million copies in total, starring Riko Fukumoto and Jesse (SixTONES)!
Issaki Senagaki lost his parents at an early age and was brought up by his grandfather, the head of the Senagaki clan.
Issaki was isolated and traumatized by her status as the "grandson of a member of a gangster family," and was unable to make friends. She decides to "make normal friends and fall in love normally!" However, Keiya Uto, a young leader of the Senagaki clan and Issaki's caretaker, falsifies her age and enrolls her in the same high school through a backdoor entrance!
Keiya, who is too overprotective, declares that he will be Issaki's "guard dog" and bodyguard. Issaki is flustered by Keiya's actions, but in order to protect her longed-for high school life, she hides her and Keiya's true identities and scrambles to get by. Then Mikio Tanuki, grandson of the head of the Tanuki clan and brother of the Senagaki clan, transfers to the same high school as Issaki and Keiya. He starts to disturb their relationship... Will Issaki be able to live a normal life of love and adolescence?
Directed by Keiichi Kobayashi of "Momoiro Sora wo" and "Koi wa Hikari (Love is Light)". Script by Yosuke Masaike of "Haken Anime!" and the music is composed by Izumi Mori, who is active in a wide range of fields including commercials, movies, TV, and game music. Cute and colorful music, ranging from melancholic to danceable, adds color to the story.
