NHK Special: MIKAIKETSU JIKEN (UNSOLVED CASES)

Based on new scoops, the popular series "Mikaiketsu Jiken (Unsolved Cases)" uses documentary and real-life drama to get to the bottom of the case.
This CD includes the ninth installment, "Seicho Matsumoto and the Teigin Incident," and the tenth installment, "Shimoyama Incident," as well as the main theme of Unsolved Cases, "Labyrinth".
The music for the series is composed by Kenji Kawai.

NHK Special's "Mikaiketsu Jiken (Unsolved Cases)" series examines and tracks cases that had a huge impact throughout Japan but were never solved.
The ninth series focuses on the "Teigin Incident," a dark case during the Occupation Period that has been called "the greatest postwar mystery," and the unknown struggle of Seicho Matsumoto, a nationally known writer who took on the mystery.
The tenth installment focuses on the case known as "the biggest mystery of the Occupation Period," which Seicho Matsumoto and many other writers and journalists attempted to solve but no one could.
The music is composed by Kenji Kawai, who has worked on the entire series. This soundtrack disc includes the music for both "Seicho Matsumoto and the Teigin Case" and "Shimoyama Case," as well as the famous "Unsolved Case Main Theme [Labyrinth]," which features the beautiful voice of Sizuru Ohtaka over the profound melody by Kenji Kawai.
