The original soundtrack from "Owakare Hospital," a human drama that examines the meaning of "life" in a medical treatment ward where people face the last days of their lives, is now available!

A convalescent ward accepts people who need severe medical care, such as those with terminal cancer, and those who have difficulty recuperating at home. It is truly a medical safety net. The film questions the meaning of "facing death" and "living" through the attitude and work style of the doctors and nurses on the front line who deal with patients and their families, their daily struggles, anger, sadness, small joys, smiles, and the drama that lies beyond their real faces.

Based on a manga of the same title by Okita x Hana, who is also known for "Tomei na Yurikago (Transparent Cradle)," a story set in an obstetrics and gynecology clinic. Naoko Adachi wrote the screenplay and Yasuaki Shimizu is in charge of the music, following "Tomei na Yurikago (Transparent Cradle)".

The nurse is played by Yukino Kishii, the doctor by Kenichi Matsuyama, and a cast of splendid actors including Ji Uchida, Atsuko Sendo, Koki Nagamura, Wan Marui, Yuko Yamamoto, and Tomiyuki Kunihiro round out the cast.
Although the drama depicts a very heavy theme, it is very loving and the music, which is both harsh and gentle, leads to a ray of light for the future.
