Winner of the Best Actor Award at the 44th Japan Academy Awards for "Midnight Swan," Tsuyoshi Kusanagi now takes on the challenge of playing a falsely accused and vengeful samurai, breaking new ground with director Kazuya Shiraishi ("The Blood of the Lone Wolf") in his first period drama!

The film co-stars Kaya Kiyohara, Taishi Nakagawa, Eita Okuno, Takuma Otoo, Masachika Ichimura, Takumi Saito, Kyoko Koizumi, and Jun Kunimura.
The music is composed by Kaitaro Abe, who has appeared in a wide range of stage productions, TV programs, and films, including a Shakespearean stage production directed by Yukio Ninagawa and the NHK TV series "Ranman".
