Min Tanaka's "Dance", which does not belong to any genre, and the graceful music will sharpen your senses.
Min Tanaka, who started his solo dance career in 1966, made his overseas debut at the Paris Autumn Arts Festival in 1978, and has been collaborating with artists all over the world. To date, he has performed more than 3000 times.
Min Tanaka's filmography includes a wide range of works from Hollywood to Asia, and his appearances in films, starting with "Twilight Samurai" (2002), have been accumulating. From August 2017 to November 2019, director Isshin Inudo, who has been a close friend of Min Tanaka since he was offered a role in "Maison de Himiko" (2005), shot Min Tanaka's dance, which continues to be a unique existence, while traveling to Portugal, Paris, Tokyo, Fukushima, Hiroshima, Ehime, etc. The film is full of imagination.
Min Tanaka's childhood is emotionally depicted in the animation by Koji Yamamura, the first Japanese to be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film for "Mt. Head"
The music for the film composed by Koji Ueno, who also worked with Inudo on "Zero Focus" and "Nobo no Shiro" and won the Japan Academy Prize for Best Music.
