The original soundtrack for the film "Hana Rokusho ga Akeru Hi ni", the first feature-length animated film directed by Yoshitoshi Shinomiya, whose career as a Japanese-style painter forms the core of his work and who has also participated in notable titles such as "Your Name." (directed by Makoto Shinkai) and "In This Corner of the World" (directed by Sunao Katabuchi). All tracks, including the theme song "Aoba -Movie Ver.-" sung by imase, are produced by Shuta Hasunuma. The album consists of 15 tracks featuring pop and approachable piano melodies, elegant and beautiful strings and synthesizer sounds, emotional acoustics that resonate within minimalist sonic spaces, and sound-making that closely accompanies the characters' emotions and the film's beautiful visual scenery. Each cut of the film resembles a fresh painting, and the album responds to delicate emotional states, resulting in a comfortable listening experience rich with a sense of color. The theme song "Aoba -Movie Ver.-", written and composed by imase, became a new masterpiece that draws out an unseen side of imase through collaboration with Shuta Hasunuma, who carried over the soundtrack's worldview. The performance features Shuta Ishizuka (Guitar, Bass) and Seigen Tokuzawa (Cello), who have participated in previous Hasunuma works, joined by Aya Ito (1st Violin) and Miho Jiko (2nd Violin), creating arrangements that provide a pleasant aftertaste to the film and stand as an indispensable track within the soundtrack. Recording was handled by Toshihiko Kasai, mixing by Matt Colton, and the jacket design was created by designer Seri Tanaka.
