A dynamic ensemble defining a new music genre by combining classical, and world music.
Track ListThe Motion Picture Soundtrack for “NAKBA Palestine 1948”, a documentary directed by Ryuichi Hirokawa, a photographer with over 40 years of experience, is now available. This soundtrack was distributed in numerous theaters throughout Japan.
NAKBA, an internationally acclaimed film, has been released in Japan, United States, France, Bahrain, and Lebanon, and it was an official selection of the 2008 Chicago Palestine Film Festival.
Yukiko Iiri, who composed the music in this feature-length documentary film, represents diverse music styles in this latest score, such as baroque, middle-eastern folk, and ambient. The original scores include lyrical and memorable melodies, inspired by developing global perspectives; the music is characteristic of the highly ethnic side of her creative work.
Based in the East Coast, Yukiko Iiri has been active as a composer and singer on film and TV since graduating from Berklee College with majors in Film Scoring and Performance.
