Joe Hisaishi presents MUSIC FUTURE 5

Joe Hisaishi's Wonder Land Records and the classic EXTON label - the fifth release of their dream collaboration! A series to transmit to the future! The fifth album in the "Music Future" concert series, in which Joe Hisaishi navigates the music he "wants to deliver for tomorrow," is an exciting collection of energetic minimalist works recorded live at a concert in 2020. The audience applauded clarinetist Marcos Perez Miranda's passionate solo performance of John Adams' "Gnarly Buttons". The music performed by the "Music Future Band," featuring some of Japan's finest musicians, was also sublimely performed to a high level of artistry by the highly skilled ensemble.
