COTTAGE, The

Clearly one of the funniest horror scores in recent years, Laura Rossi's music for the UK horror comedy The Cottage is entertaining, exciting and terrifying and with tongue firmly placed in cheek throughout the album. Compared to the music of the great Bernard Herrmann (Psycho) and the early works of Danny Elfman (Beetlejuice), The Cottage is a little wonderful orchestral gem for those who enjoy black comedy and musical splatter!
