Mutant, in partnership with Back Lot Music and Focus Features, are proud to present the premiere physical release of Academy AwardR winning composer Volker Bertelmann's score to Edgar Berger's Conclave.

Berger and Bertelmann's follow up to their award winning collaboration 2022 All Quiet On The Western Front, Conclave follows the high-tension, behind-closed-doors events surrounding the catholic church's process for choosing a new Pope. Unique rituals, dark secrets, betrayals, and political manipulation - Conclave holds up a gilded mirror to the modern democratic process.

"Bertelmann is a master at knowing when to raise the temperature - and this score brings the tension to a boil." says Mutant co-founder Mo Shafeek "The main recurring melody is arresting and melodic. This vinyl release is pressed on 140 gram black vinyl, and housed in a foil stamped sleeve.
