It follows the same narrative blueprint while expanding it with countless new situations involving Italy's most famous accountant, played by Paolo Villaggio.Scenes that have become deeply embedded in Italian popular culture (in every sense), such as the ship launching, the casino episodes, the screening of Battleship Potemkin, the escape from Ivan the Terrible XXXII, and many others, have made the Fantozzi sequel an undisputed cult movie, cherished by generations of film lovers throughout Italy.The soundtrack, composed by Franco Bixio, Fabio Frizzi, and Vince Tempera, draws inspiration from the mood of the previous score and soon became a true cultural hallmark of the Fantozzi cinematic phenomenon. It quickly shed the notion of being merely a reworking of the previous year's score and developed a distinctive identity of its own.Available on vinyl for the first time, this 50th anniversary edition features on the cover the original photographic poster depicting Paolo Villaggio as a lightning rod. It is released as a 12-inch crystal white vinyl edition, limited to 400 exclusive copies, with mastering by Claudio Fuiano and graphic layout by Daniele De Gemini.
