The second original soundtrack for "Be Forever Yamato: Rebel 3199" arrives on UHQCD! The anime "Be Forever Yamato: Rebel 3199" is the latest work in the "Space Battleship Yamato 2199" series, reconstructed with a new interpretation from the third theatrical film "Be Forever Yamato", released in 1980. It is being released theatrically nationwide in seven chapters, with the final chapter, "Chapter 7 Nijiiro no Rinne", opening on Friday, October 30, 2026! The release is planned as a two-CD set centered on background music newly written for Chapter 5, Chapter 6, and Chapter 7, the final chapter (subject to change). The enclosed booklet is set to carry a wealth of text, including a conversation interview between Akira Miyagawa and Shu Kanematsu, who are in charge of the music, and commentary by Tomohiro Yoshida, who serves as sound director (subject to change).
