Directed by Yoo Kwan Mo (Woman of 9.9 Billion), Police University revolves around professor Yoo Dong Man (Cha Tae Hyun, Team Bulldog: Off-Duty Investigation) and his two students at the National Police University teaming up to solve various cases. Jung Jin Young (My First First Love) plays freshman and former hacker Kang Seon Ho, while Krystal Jung (Search) takes the role of righteous first-year student Oh Kang Hee.

Besides starring in the drama, Jin Young produced the song "Stay" performed by Yu Ju. The original soundtrack of Police University also features Winners by Han Seung Yoon, "Like A Star" by Weeekly's Monday, Get Ready by D'tour, "Love Your Everything" by Onestar, "What I Want To Say" by Jung Dong Ha, "Another Me" by Big Mama, and 29 instrumentals.
