SYMPHONIC POEM: ULTRAMAN / ULTRA SEVEN

King Records presents the first-ever SACD remastering and complete reissue of the 1979 LP "Symphonic Poem Ultraman / Ultra Seven" on December 24, 2025.

Composer Toru Fuyuki, who established the musical world of the Ultra Series and composed the music for "Ultra Seven," and composer Kunio Miyauchi, who composed the music for "Ultraman" as the starting point for the Ultra Series' music.

Honoring the legacies of Toru Fuyuki, who sadly passed away in 2024 and would have celebrated his 90th birthday in 2025, and Kunio Miyauchi, whose 20th anniversary of passing will be observed in 2026, the symphonic poems "Ultraman" and "Ultra Seven" will now be fully reissued for the first time as SACD hybrid disc.

"Symphonic Poem: Ultraman / Ultra Seven" was originally released as an LP in 1979. It grandly reconstructs the soundtrack music from "Ultraman" and "Ultra Seven" through the composer's own orchestral arrangements. The performance features the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra conducted by Kazuhiko Komatsu, recorded on December 3, 1978, at the Fussa Civic Hall.

For this SACD release, the original analog tapes were remastered using the latest technology. The design, including the photographs used for the artwork, is a complete reproduction of the original LP.
