La mia banda suona il pop is a 2020 movie by Fausto Brizzi starring Christian De Sica, Massimo Ghini and Diego Abatantuono, featuring a soundtrack by Maestro Bruno Zambrini.
An agent is contacted from Russia and asked to reunite a band from the ‘80s called Pop Corn, the favorite group of a rich oligarch. With some struggles and few plot twists, the band seems to enjoy the reunion, but not without a few surprises!
The film's title quotes the famous Fossati song ''La mia banda suona il Rock'' and features one of the dearest Maestros in our recent history (Fracchia contro Dracula, Fantozzi subisce ancora, Pappa e ciccia, Scuola di Ladri, Mia moglie e una bestia), producing a song-based soundtrack featuring the kind of music for which he is very popular!
