Fender's piano, analog synthesizer, pulsating bass and echo, echo, echo ... Music from Andrzej Jerzy Piotrowski's psychological film is a hypnotic mystery performed by the same musicians who recorded mainly under the name Arp Life.

The tangled personal intrigue with Leonard Pietraszak and Ma?gorzata Braunek in the main roles remains one of the best pictures in the director's output to this day (on a par with the television "Business trip"). Andrzej Korzy?ski, having innovative and engaging music embedded in contemporary film. It was then that the Arp Life project gained a special significance in his achievements - the recordings for "The Grand System" are, in fact, another session performed by this legendary project. It consists of pieces full of anxiety, based on an aggressive, synthesizer pulse and themes bathed in reverbs, exposing Fender's psychedelic piano. This is the same direction as Man of Marble, realized six months later - only much bolder and stranger.

"Wielki System" appears in a remastered edition of the original tapes from the archives of the CeTA Audiovisual Technology Center in Wroc?aw. This is another fruit (after the music from the series "Czterej pancerni i pies" and the recordings of Wojciech Kilar from the films "Ca?a naprzod" and "Giuseppe in Warsaw") of cooperation with the guardians of the memory of the Wroc?aw Feature Film Studio. The CeTA collection includes over 10,000 unique film costumes and unpublished film music by Wojciech Kilar, Adam S?awi?ski, Piotr Hertl, W?odzimierz Nahorny and Jerzy Derfl.(Auto Translation)
