Prince of Foxes is a 1949 adventure film starring Tyrone Power and Orson Welles, with music by Twentieth Century-Fox's famous composer, conductor and musical director Alfred Newman (Captain from Castile, The Diary of Anne Frank). The film is a Renaissance-era costume drama with Newman the real hero, providing rousing themes and symphonic gusto. Amazingly, the original soundtrack-over half a century old-is presented in stereo. Includes 16 page booklet. 24 tracks. Limited to 300 copies. FSM. 2003.
