Memorable Ad Jingles by Osamu Kitajima 1973-1986

This CD contains 73 of the approximately 100 commercial demos that Osamu Kitajima created during his extremely busy period as a composer from 1973 to 1986, carefully selected under his supervision. The jingles written for leading Japanese companies such as Toyota, Panasonic, Mitsubishi, Kao, and Morinaga are a valuable record of the budding creativity that led to his later masterpiece, "Benzaiten". The album also features a session with Haruomi Hosono, Fujimaru Yoshino, Furlaut, Harvey Mason, Nathan East, and Joe Sample, among others, who are all well-known musicians in Japan and abroad. This is the first definitive archive that systematically reveals the "origin" of Osamu Kitajima.
