TULPA is the third film directed by Federico Zampaglione (Tiro Mancino), whose prior efforts include NERO BIFAMILARE and SHADOW. Featuring a cast that includes Claudia Gerini and Nuot Arquint, it's surely one of the most controversial films of the director's filmography and in the recent Italian horror movie landscape. In TULPA, a top-ranking manager (Gerini) leads a double life, frequenting a night club named Tulpa in which inhibitions are checked at the door. It's a giallo that unfolds in and around that club, full of forbidden rendezvous and brutal killings…
Track ListThe score for TULPA - PERDIZIONI MORTALI was composed by The Alvarius, a duo formed by Francesco Zampaglione (the director's brother) and Andrea Moscianese, the same team that composed the score for SHADOW. Both the film and its soundtrack are rich in '70s atmosphere, bringing to mind such evergreens as Goblin's scores for Dario Argento and Fabio Frizzi’s for Lucio Fulci. It's a great production that will charm lovers of film music for the cinematic genre that never dies. JEWEL CASE + TRANSPARENT TRAY + 4 PAGES BOOKLET. --- Beat Records
