NIGHTMARE BEACH

Beat Records releases on CD the complete edition of Claudio Simonetti’s original score for the movie ''Nightmare Beach - La spiaggia del terrore,'' directed in 1988 by Umberto Lenzi. A series of grotesque killings at the hands of a mysterious murderer dressed like a motorcyclist (with a helmet to hide his identity) are accompanied by energetic rock and dance music alternated with passages of tension and mystery. At the time of the film’s release only five selections from the score were issued on a RCA compilation CD.

Now available in our BCM series with a 12-page booklet designed by Alessio Innuzzi using original key art, with liner notes (in Italian and English) by Fabio Babini and mastering by Claudio Fuiano. --- Beat Records
