Dad, I'm scared! Something is coming, and it's going to kill you!
The third Kadokawa film. Starring Ken Takakura and co-starring Yoshiko Nakano and Hiroko Yakushimaru.
This action blockbuster is a bold adaptation of Seiichi Morimura's original story.
* Commemorating the 10th anniversary of Ken Takakura's death. The film starring Ken Takakura and the film debut of Hiroko Yakushimaru! The long-awaited 4K version!
4K Digital Restoration Ultra HD Blu-ray [HDR Version] & 4K Digital Restoration Blu-ray 2-disc set.
The Blu-ray is recorded in HD resolution using the SDR master.
A new master was created with the aim of restoring the original color design by referring to the timing data of the time, past masters, and films for screening.
Both the SDR and HDR versions (included in Ultra HD-Blu-ray) use the latest grading and new master supervised by cinematographer Maruike No, who was the assistant cinematographer (second) for "Proof of Wildness".
* The original theatrical 4-channel stereo audio is recorded for the first time!
The 4-channel stereo sound, which was only shown in a limited number of theaters at the time, was digitized from 6mm tapes that had been duplicated and stored from 35mm cine tapes, and recorded for the first time with sound reduction.
The original monaural optical sound is also newly recorded with sound reduction.
* Also including the original Soundtrack from "Proof of Wild" soundtrack CD.
In the process of investigating the warehouse for the UHD version of the film, the soundtrack was unearthed and is now available on CD for the first time!
This is the first CD release of the music for "The Inugami Clan" and "Proof of Humanity" by Yuji Ohno, who also composed the music for "The Inugami Clan" and "The Proof of Humanity".
This is the first CD release of the Quad Mix Master (4-channel master) created for 4-channel stereo sound (stereo down-mixing). Includes many songs that have not been edited or recorded separately.
* The film is also packed with many first-time video extras, including a newly discovered special featurette!
