Track ListCommemorating the 100th anniversary of Shigeru Mizuki's birth, "The Birth of Kitaro: The Mystery of Gegege" depicts the story of Kitaro's fathers' encounter and their connection to "Gegege no Kitaro," and is episode 0 of the sixth season of the TV animation "Gegege no Kitaro" which was broadcast from 2018 to 2020.
Musician Kenji Kawai was in charge of the music for the story, which uncovers the hidden mystery about the "Birth of Kitaro" in the sixth season of the TV animation series. This is the first original soundtrack CD of music for "Gegege no Kitaro" by Kenji Kawai, who has composed music for numerous TV dramas, movies, and animated films.
