Ultra Seven celebrate its 55th anniversary in 2022. The "Ultra Seven Symphony" and "Ultra Cosmo Symphony" were arranged for brass band and newly recorded by the Japan Ground Self Defence Force Central Band.
The composer Toru Fuyuki, who is known for the music of "Ultra Seven", wrote "Symphonic Poem Ultra Seven" and "Symphony Ultra Cosmo" as orchestral works, and arranged them dynamically for a brass band version. This is the latest recording. The "Symphonic Poem Ultra Seven" expresses the world view of the work most clearly, and the "Symphony Ultra Cosmo" is the masterpiece of Toru Fuyuki's soul that forms the counterpart to the "Symphony Ultra Seven". Each song has a moving structure with an original story by Toshihiro Iijima and Shozo Uehara, two of the most prominent legends of the Ultraman series, interspersed between the songs.
