LOOK BACK

The original soundtrack from the live-action film "Look Back" is being released! A collection of music carefully crafted by composer Yuta Bandoh together with master classical guitarists. Tatsuki Fujimoto's manga "Look Back" was published on "Shonen Jump+" in 2021 and became a major topic of conversation among manga fans, including many renowned creators. It has been published in 37 countries and regions in addition to Japan, and its 2024 theatrical anime adaptation became a major hit, grossing 2.04 billion yen at the box office and earning high praise both in Japan and overseas. "Look Back" has now been adapted into a live-action film by director Hirokazu Kore-eda. Natsuki Deguchi and Aju Makita star in the double lead roles, and the film opens on September 11. It has also been selected for the Competition section of the 83rd Venice International Film Festival. The music is composed by Yuta Bandoh. Closely accompanying the film's delicate world, which was shot entirely on film across the four seasons, the soundtrack captures meticulously crafted tones, with every note performed by master classical guitarists including Kyuhee Park and Takuya Okamoto. This marks Bandoh's second consecutive collaboration with Kore-eda, following "SHEEP IN THE BOX," currently in theaters. *The Shark Kick Guitar track is not included on this soundtrack.
