The original story is a newly written work by Naoki Prize-winning author Tetsu Ogawa, which was just released by Hayakawa Shobo in October. The screenplay is by Reiko Yoshida. Music is by Yudai Bando and yuma yamaguchi. Bando, who is gaining attention as a contemporary composer, is known for his work on the animated films "Kaiju 8" and the NHK drama "17 Sai no Teikoku," as well as for his joint arrangements with Yonezu Genji. Yuma Yamaguchi, on the other hand, has been active in a variety of fields, including commercial music, the Netflix movie "Shinkansen Daihaku", and string arrangements for the opening song "Gift" of the NHK TV series "Anpan". The two artists' magnificent film score depicts the world of the sci-fi drama. The theme song "Memory and Gravity" is sung by Ohzora Kimishima of the original music group "Disk Miners," which also appears in the original story. Kimishima is a singer-songwriter who gave an outstanding performance at the FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL '25 GREEN STAGE, and this theme song was co-written by Daisora Kimishima, Yudai Bando, and yuma yamaguchi. The lyrics were written by poet Yuuki Bungetsu. The lyrics were co-written by poet Yuko Bungetsu and Ozora Kimishima.
