The original soundtrack from the 2025 NHK Taiga Drama "Bebo - Tsutaju Eika No Yume Banashi -" is now available! The 2025 NHK Taiga Drama will depict the tumultuous life of Tsutaya Shigesaburo (played by Yokohama Ryusei), a man who laid the foundation of Japan's media industry and pop culture, and continued to pursue the fun of it even when the authorities sometimes took notice of him. The music is by John Gramm, a Virginia native who loves literature, history, art, and Japanese literature, and who also composed the music for the drama "Kirin ga Kuru" (The Kirin Comes) (2020). The main theme "Glorious Edo", which represents Tsutajige's life, will be performed by the NHK Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Tatsuya Shimono, and the gorgeous and colorful music of the Edo period will be performed with celesta, shamisen, dulcimer, koto, finger cymbals, and the beautiful sound of a rare zimbalon. The music of "BEROBO" is produced. The "BEROBO KIKO I" is performed by Dai Miyata, one of Japan's leading cellists.
