LA BAND DEL BRASILIANO is an ensemble of musicians from Tuscany, from very different backgrounds (Dilatazione, Paolo Benvegnu, Ulan Bator, Dinamitri Jazz Folklore, Marta Reewees, Fantomatik Orchestra, Andrea Franchi e i Pupazzi, Organic Groove, Eddie Floyd, Nick Becattini Band), specially gathered for the composition of some songs from the soundtrack of La Banda del Brasiliano by John Snellinberg (2010).
The first disc (Vol. 1) of LA BAND DEL BRASILIANO (Cinedelic Record) mixes original tracks with reinterpretations of other tracks from METTI UNA SERA A CENA (E. Morricone), FEMINA RIDENS (S. Cipriani), GOODBYE MY FRIEND (G&M De Angelis) and others, a rhythmic and ironic crossover of styles and genres, including easy listening, funk, porn groove, beats and sexy soundtracks.
